Dietary wet veterinary food for adult cats with renal failure / oxalate and cystine urolithiasis



Indications:

• Ailments related to the urinary system

• Kidney diseases

• Urolithiasis / oxalates / cystines

Contraindications:

• Do not use on kittens
• Pregnant and lactating cats
• Cats with struvite stones

The Trovet RID diet is a complete and balanced food with adapted levels of nutrients to prevent and alleviate metabolic changes caused by kidney, heart or liver failure.
The Trovet RID diet is characterized by reduced levels of phosphorus and sodium, which helps reduce hyperphosphatemia and helps control heart failure, hypertension and ascites. A moderate level of high-quality protein ensures that the minimum daily requirement for amino acids is met and that the kidneys function properly.
Increased levels of B vitamins inhibit the development of the disease and contribute to the alleviation of disease symptoms. The addition of substances that raise urine pH counteracts acidosis.
