Contraindications:

  • Hypersensitivity to animal protein from lamb

  • hypersensitivity to animal protein from lamb
  • cats that are currently receiving full doses of urine acidifying medications
  • cats with urinary stones not consisting of struvite

The Trovet LRD diet contains selected proteins that eliminate nutrients that may cause allergies or food intolerances. LRD is a complete food prepared from the highest quality products that are known not to cause food allergies. Trovet LRD does not contain dairy products, gluten or lactose, which may cause food intolerance.

Due to the growing demand for diets that can be intended for cats with food hypersensitivity and recurrent urinary stones - struvites, urine acidifying substances have been added to the LRD dry food. Lower urine pH helps to reduce the formation of struvite. This correction resulted in contraindications described in the "Contraindications" tab below.

The current indications and contraindications for Hypoallergenic LRD wet cat food remain the same.

The corrected product will have a 'pH control' pictogram on the packaging.

Dosage:

The recommended time for using TROVET Hypoallergenic Lamb is 3-8 weeks.
When the symptoms of hypersensitivity disappear, TROVET LRD can be continued to be fed to the cat without time limits - as a complete food.

Dosage for kittens:

• 25-75% of the weight of an adult cat - 1.5 times the serving size
• 75-100% of the weight of an adult cat - 1.25 times the serving size
