TROVET Intestinal FRD is an anti-allergic diet based on a single source of protein (hydrolysed fish protein) and carbohydrates (rice). It prevents immunological reactions (food allergy) or non-immunological reactions (food intolerance) in the form of skin problems or digestive problems (diarrhea, vomiting).
Changing your allergy diet can help to slowly reduce the itching. This reduces scratching, rubbing and biting of the skin, which can cause secondary skin lesions.

• Hydrolyzation reduces the molecular weight of the protein and therefore minimizes the risk of allergic reactions.
• Mannanoligosaccharides, fructaoligosaccharides and beta-glucans have a beneficial effect on the intestines.
• Omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) help reduce inflammatory responses and speed up skin recovery.

Please consult your veterinarian before using this diet. Recommended duration of use for enteritis from 3 to 8 weeks, food intolerances and gastrointestinal problems from 3 to 12 weeks, for dermatitis and hair loss at least 2 months. Once symptoms have disappeared, the diet should be used for the rest of the animal's life to prevent recurrence.
