Supplementary food - snacks with vitamin C for guinea pigs

FRANCODEX vitamin C snacks are an original way to give guinea pigs their daily dose of vitamin C. They can be used as a main source of vitamin C or as a supplement to another source of vitamin C (drink, fresh plants, tablets, etc.). The daily requirement for healthy guinea pigs for vitamin C is 20 mg/kg. This requirement increases threefold during illness, convalescence, pregnancy and lactation (60 mg/kg).



How to use:

• preventively: guinea pigs weighing <1 kg - 2 snacks a day. Guinea pigs weighing >1 kg - 3 snacks a day
• during convalescence, pregnancy and lactation: triple the dose, i.e. give 6 snacks a day.

It is recommended to wait until the weaning period (at 10 weeks of age) before feeding young rodents snacks.
Complementary food does not replace balanced nutrition.
Use within one month of opening.



Precautions:

provide free access to fresh water. When used with other vitamin C supplements, follow the recommended daily doses. Keep away from children. Store in a dry, cool place. Product not intended for human consumption.



Composition:

cereals, oils and fats, plant by-products (inulin 0.25%), fruit (apple powder 1%), minerals.



Additives (/kg):

nutritional additives - vitamin C 11,111 mg, vitamin E (RRR alpha-tocopherol) 112 mg, vitamin A 1000 lU, vitamin D3 150 lU. Sensory additives - Echinacea extract 3000 mg - antioxidant.



Analytical components:

crude protein 8%, crude ash 2%, crude fat 27% (Omega-3 fatty acids: 1.2%), crude fiber 2.5%, moisture 7%.
