Ear hygiene - cats and dogs

• Ear cleaner for dogs and cats prevents infections because it inhibits the growth of microorganisms, removes excess earwax and other impurities, and dries the ear canal.
  
• A special applicator facilitates the use of the product.

Our pet's ear is anatomically very different from the human ear. The ear canal has the shape of the letter "L": first it goes down vertically, then it bends at a right angle, runs towards the inside of the skull and ends with the eardrum.


This shape has two effects:

• accumulation of earwax deep inside the ear, which is not removed spontaneously, and thus air access to the deeper sections of the ear canal is hindered;
• the accumulation of earwax in a warm and humid environment, without adequate ventilation, promotes skin maceration and may cause ear infections and other infections.

The goal of proper ear care is primarily to prevent infections. In breeds that have floppy ears, the pinna constantly covers the opening of the ear canal and increases ventilation problems. In some breeds of small dogs (Poodles, Bichon, Shih Tzu...) hair grows inside the ear canal, which further increases the risk of maceration.



How to use:

Remove the cap. Pierce the tip of the applicator. Warm the bottle in your hand. Pull your ear slightly up and SLOWLY PUT A FEW DROPS OF LIQUID into the auricle. Massage the base of the ear gently for about 1 minute to remove any accumulated ear wax. Remove the liquid and thoroughly dry the inside of the auricle with a cotton pad. It is not recommended to use cotton buds as they may further clog the ear canal.
