A necessary condition to ensure great fun is to choose the right size of the ball. The correctly selected size is larger than the size that the dog can put in its mouth.
The ball is hollow inside and perfectly balanced, so it "escapes" the dog every time it wants to bite it, thus providing a lot of exercise while chasing the toy.
The balls float on the water - the dog will willingly swim trying to get the ball.
