Tick Pen from Beaphar allows you to easily, safely and gently remove all ticks attached to the skin.
Ticks can be carriers of dangerous pathogens that cause tick-borne encephalitis, Lyme disease, and canine babesiosis. If the tick is squeezed while being improperly removed, the tick "vomit" which increases the likelihood of infecting the host, because this is when the contents with pathogens from the inside of the tick enter the victim's wound.
A handy tool that has two sizes of pliers on both ends - for removing small and large ticks.
How to use
1. Slide aside the red protective cover covering the tip of the pliers. 2. Place the tip of the tweezers parallel to the skin surface near the tick. 3. Insert the slot of the forceps between the tick and the skin surface. 4. Carefully lift the forceps, removing the tick.
The area where the tick was removed should be thoroughly disinfected. It is recommended to keep a close eye on the bite site. If you notice a redness in the shape of a ring around the site, you should contact your doctor immediately.
