Wolfsblut VetLine GASTROINTESTINAL is a complete dietary food for adult dogs, alleviating intestinal absorption disorders, compensating for inadequate digestion or chronic pancreatic insufficiency (pancreatitis). If a dog suffers from diarrhea and vomiting, various causes can be considered. Most often, changes in diet, disturbed intestinal flora, parasites, fungi or diseases of the stomach, intestines or pancreas are responsible for this. If diarrhea and vomiting last for several days, important minerals are lost and the body falls into a state of deficiency. In the case of absorption disorders, the dog has difficulty digesting food properly due to, for example, inflammation of the intestinal mucosa.

Wolfsblut VetLine Gastrointestinal is a complete dietetic food adapted to the needs of your dog with digestive disorders and impaired pancreatic function. The dietetic food contains easily digestible duck meat, which relieves the stomach and intestines. Due to its low fat content, it can also be used in cases of pancreatic insufficiency.

• Mannanoligosaccharides (MOS) stabilize the intestinal barrier, and a regular supply of MOS helps maintain a balanced bacterial colonization of the intestine. Since dehydration is a side effect of diarrhea and vomiting, electrolytes in the feed help the animal absorb the missing minerals.
• The prebiotics contained in it help to strengthen the natural intestinal flora and, consequently, especially digestion in the large intestine. In addition, healthy intestinal flora helps the dog to better prevent future gastrointestinal infections.
• Essential fatty acids inhibit inflammatory reactions and thus support pancreatic function. A delicious recipe based on duck and sweet potato supports feed intake and ensures nutrient supply.
