Dietary food for adult dogs with renal failure / oxalate and cystine urolithiasis



Indications:

• Oxalate, cystine and urate urolithiasis
• Kidney and heart failure.
• Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC)

Contraindications:

• Puppies
• Pregnant and lactating female dogs
• Dogs with struvite stones

Trovet RID is a complete and balanced food with nutritional adjustments to prevent and alleviate metabolic changes caused by kidney, heart or liver failure.
Trovet RID food is characterized by reduced levels of phosphorus and sodium, which helps reduce hyperphosphatemia and helps control heart failure, hypertension and ascites.
A moderate level of high-quality protein ensures that the minimum daily requirement for amino acids is met and that the kidneys function properly. Increased levels of B vitamins inhibit the development of the disease and contribute to the alleviation of disease symptoms.
The addition of substances that raise urine pH counteracts metabolic acidosis and prevents the development of oxalate urolithiasis in the urinary tract.
