Due to the growing demand for a product that dissolves struvite, the amount of urine acidifying substances has been increased. This dissolves struvite stones. The adjustment has slightly stronger acidifying consequences on the patient's urine, causing the urine pH to change from 6.2 to 6.0. For patients with large struvite stones, additional medications are recommended.
