Pet Corrector
Pet Corrector emits a sound that is the hiss of compressed air - it resembles the warning signal emitted by, for example, cats or snakes. Pet Corrector is used to stop unwanted dog behavior.
Pet Corrector stops many unwanted behaviors, but is most often used in the following cases:
- bark
- jumping
- stealing food
- racing
- entering a prohibited zone
The best results can be achieved by combining it with a reward-based training method.
Pet Corrector generates a wide spectrum of sound, ranging from low-frequency noise to high-frequency hiss. The effect is to attract the dog's attention, whose reaction also depends on the sensitivity of its hearing and prior acclimatization. Almost all dogs respond to Pet Corrector because its sound is associated with danger, such as the hiss of a snake, an angry swan, or a dangerous insect.
Other uses
Pet Corrector is not just for dogs. It is also possible to stop other animal species from undesirable actions - e.g. a horse destroying a fence or bothering other animals. Cats are also sensitive to the sound emitted - you can stop them from scratching furniture or hunting birds.
Sessions using Pet Corrector should be short and end on a positive note.
Pet Corrector is available in several sizes: 30ml, 50ml, 200ml.
Tips:
- Pet sensitivity testing: use the spray at a distance of more than 1 meter.
- Never aim the spray at the animal's face - keep the direction of the compressed air stream neutral.
- Pet Corrector should only be used for serious offenses. This is not a substitute for a training method.
- It is very important that Pet Corrector is used precisely when performing the unwanted activity. Reward your dog during positive behavior.
- Use the spray for a short time - the container will require "rest" after long-term use.
- Work on one type of unwanted activity at a time (e.g. jumping). Once one behavior is corrected, you can move on to the next behavioral problem if necessary.
- The container should not be burned or pierced when empty. Keep in the shade, at temperatures below 50 degrees C and away from fire.
