Meanwhile, the vast majority of foods are produced using all parts of animal origin. Look for the word "meat" in the ingredients on dog food labels.

2. Protein hydrolysis is a process in which proteins are broken down into smaller parts, so that the dog's immune system does not identify them as an allergen. This is because the small particles of the broken-down ingredient do not cause an allergic reaction. Foods with hydrolyzed protein are recommended for allergy sufferers . Additionally, such protein is more digestible.
