Hill's Prescription Diet k/d cat food has been specially developed by nutritionists and veterinarians to support the treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD). Prescription Diet k/d is clinically proven to help protect key kidney function and slow the progression of the disease and is clinically proven to improve quality of life and extend life.

Main indications:

  • Chronic kidney disease (CKD)
    • IRIS stage 2 (without proteinuria)
    • Stages 3-4 IRIS All
    • IRIS stages with proteinuria
  • Acute kidney injury
  • Uremic encephalopathy



Other indications:

  • CKD stage 1 IRIS (without proteinuria)
  • Removal of urate and cystine stones
  • General liver failure
  • Hepatic encephalopathy
  • Fatty liver (with encephalopathy)



Composition:

meat and ingredients of animal origin (beef 4%), ingredients of plant origin, cereals, various sugars, fish and ingredients of fish origin, eggs and egg derivatives, oils and fats, minerals. Protein sources: chicken, pork, beef, salmon, dried egg whites.

Nutritional additives: 3b103 (iron) 13.8 mg, 3b202 (iodine) 0.4 mg, 3b405 (copper) 2.3 mg, 3b502 (manganese) 3.0 mg, 3b603 (zinc) 35.5 mg, colored with natural caramel.
