Use:

Use for about 2 months. When increasing the dose or extending the period of use, it is recommended to consult a veterinarian.



Additional information

• It is best to administer Gammolen during or immediately after a meal. You can squeeze the contents of the capsule directly into the food.
• The basic treatment should last no less than 2 months to allow the body to replenish the deficiency of omega-6 and omega-3 acids.
• Usually, the first effects of use appear after about 10 days of Gammolen administration. If this period is prolonged, the amount of Gammolen in the diet can be increased. The individual nutritional needs of the animal (e.g. young or old animals after physical exertion, during convalescence) may require longer administration or a larger amount of Gammolen in the daily diet.
• Consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.

Animal food contains too little of these important health substances, because they are very sensitive to damage, e.g. during industrial processing of food and also during cooking, frying, freezing. Omega-6 and omega-3 EFAs are essential for the proper functioning of the body, and they play a particularly important role in maintaining the proper structure and function of the skin and hair.


Omega-6 and omega-3 EFAs are the building material of the skin, they accelerate and improve its oxygenation and nourishment, strengthen the skin's resistance to infections, inflammation and damage. An important role of EFAs is also to prevent excessive water loss through the skin. Ceramides, which include linoleic acid from the omega-6 group, are responsible for this mechanism.
