Himalayan cheeses are made from the milk of Himalayan cows, which undergoes a long and careful processing process. First, the milk is boiled for an hour to remove all the fat and pasteurize it. Then a little salt and lime juice (totaling only 0.01% of the amount of milk) are added to it to coagulate it. The next stage is pressing for 2-3 days, which allows the cheese to get rid of moisture. Such blocks of cheese are cut into appropriately sized pieces and dried in a smoking chamber for as long as 20-30 days to become hard and gain a delicate, smoky flavor.

This whole long process leads to the creation of natural and healthy chews, the chewing of which will provide your dog with long and pleasant fun! • Ingredients: Original churpi is made from natural ingredients, such as milk from animals living in the high mountain regions of the Himalayas. No artificial colours, preservatives or other artificial substances are added. Our churpi is made from milk from the Himalayan region, from animals living at altitudes above 3000 m above sea level, grazing freely.
  
• Production process: Traditional churpi is made by boiling milk, then pressing and drying for a long time to achieve a hard consistency. This process takes many days and authentic churpi is hand-made by local artisans. Our churpi is made in this way - it is hand-made, using traditional methods and dried for a very long time.

How to make Churpi Puffs

When you buy a piece of cheese and there is only a small tip left, you don't have to throw it away! You can make puffs out of it - a crunchy snack that your dog can safely crunch, like cheesy popcorn! Preparing churpi puffs is very simple and only requires a microwave.

How to make Churpi Puffs - step by step:

• Put the end of the cheese in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Just use the warmest tap water.
• Remove the churpi from the water and place on a plate or in a microwave-safe bowl.
• Place in microwave and heat for 30-60 seconds. Usually 45 seconds is optimal.
• Let the puffs cool and give them to your dog friend to munch on!
